Florence Blackwell Florence Blackwell (she/her) is the Senior Curator and Managing Partner at Magpie Arts Collection. Blackwell is a transdisciplinary artist and art historian who centers communities that have been historically marginalized. She earned a BFA in Photography and a BA in Art History from the University of Colorado Denver. She has successfully completed internships at the Colorado Photographic Arts Center and the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver. Critical research and activism are at the forefront of her curatorial practice. Blackwell honors her authenticity and hopes this attribute can be a positive influence for those she encounters.
Susan Aplin Pogue Susan Aplin Pogue (she/her) is the Owner and Managing Partner at Magpie Arts Collection, is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her 30+ year career has taken her down many paths in many types of organizations; she has been a banker, a corporate trainer, a project manager, and a brain-training performance coach. Each skill has allowed her to support artists in growing their business, building their brand, and managing their art lives to allow them more time to create and connect with other creatives.
